The Classic Hearse Register was set up in 1993 to compile a comprehensive list of all known Pre 80 hearses in use or still in existance. During the past four years the Register has gone from strength to strength with over 160 members from all over the world. There are now many rare and interesting vehicles in the club with a diversity of different models/makes ranging from Horsedrawn hearses through to more modern Fords, vintage Rolls Royce's and American even customised hearses!!  Like the vehicles the members are from all walks of life either being Funeral Directors, owners with an eye for an unusual but practical vehicle or just enthusiastic enthusiasts who just love these vehicles - all are welcome. The club produces four Newsletters a year covering write ups about members vehicles, the coachbuilders, for sales and reports on the shows already attended. Talking of shows, we have already held some very successful shows but our main rally is still to come - Knebworth House, Knebworth, Herts. on the 24th and 25th August (Sun / Mon) when we will be attending on both days with hopefully 20 - 25 hearses on show.
